Elections Committee

The Elections Committee shall be formed in accordance with Article VI, Section 3, Paragraph A of the Constitution of the Student Government Association of the University of Georgia. The duties of the Elections Committee are outlined in the Elections Code.

The 2026 Elections Committee shall be chaired by the Attorney General, Daniel Zeitlin. The 2026 Elections Committee consists of student members Joe Eustace, Nishat Nayla, Sophia Beasley, Reid Hornsby, and Rayna Carter

These individuals run as a ticket with a candidate for President, Vice President, and Treasurer.

Proposed Constitutional Amendment 38-01

SGA Constitutional Amendment 38-01 was passed by the Senate on November 4, 2025. In accordance with Article XIII Section 1 Paragraph B, this amendment must be ratified by a vote of two-thirds by the Student Body. This vote shall take place during the spring Student Government Elections. Voting will be open from February 23 at 8:00 AM to February 25 at 12:00 PM.
