Senators of Schools and Colleges shall be elected from each of the individual schools and colleges of the University of Georgia in proportion to the student enrollment within the school or college using the formula of one (1) Senate seat for every one-thousand (1,000) students enrolled in said school or college, and one (1) Senate seat for any school or college with less than one-thousand (1,000) students enrolled.

There is one (1) Senate seat available for the School of Public and International Affairs and two (2) candidates running.

Major(s)/Minor(s): Political Science and Economics

I will work hard to ensure the views of SPIA students and the greater student body are represented through my actions. I will
work to pass initiatives important to my constituents and evaluate other legislation while thinking about what is in the student body’s best interest.

  1. Limit the hours Ramsey Student Center parking is patrolled
  2. Reduce traffic on campus during class times
  3. Establish composting provisions

Major(s)/Minor(s): NA

As the senator for SPIA majors, I will seek to represent my constituents fairly, listening to my peers and voting on actions that I believe will most benefit the SPIA majors and the UGA student body as a whole.

Increase trash cans on North Campus, prepose better bus tracking apps and advocate for a reworked football ticketing system that takes Seniority into account.

Major(s)/Minor(s): Majors:  Political Science and Economics majors; Minors: German and International Affairs

I will represent both the interests of students both within and outside of SPIA to the best of my abilities by intentionally reaching out to SPIA students and collaborating with campus partners address their concerns.

  1. Collaborating with University Housing to seek more diversity in meal plan options for students living on-campus.
  2. Working with University Orientation and University Housing on a “living on your own for the first time” guide.
  3. Collaborating with the Dean of SPIA to update SPIA websites with updated information on related student organizations, programs, and initiatives related to the School.
