Throughout my term as a Morehead Honors College Senator for the 2025-2026 academic year, I have thoroughly enjoyed
having the opportunity to serve the Honors students within our university. By serving as the committee chair of the
Committee on Student Experience, I had the opportunity to gain experience speaking up about the problems our student
population may face, and will continue to be a voice that listens to the concerns of our students. I love Morehead Honors
College – from the opportunities the college provides to the community it fosters, Morehead Honors College has given so
much to me. I look forward to giving back to the Honors College by propelling us forward through event planning, effective
policies, and always being a listening ear for the concerns of Honors students. Accessibility is paramount to me, and I
promise to put the voice of our students in the forefront of my thoughts as I propose legislation, plan events, and initiate
progress in the upcoming school year.

Major(s)/Minor(s): Finance

As a First-Year Senator, I have had the privilege of representing the freshman class by voting on and advocating for legislation that will benefit the student body. I have also served on the Campus Safety Committee and worked on safety initiatives such as fixing dangerous crosswalks and creating personal safety classes at UGA. As a senator for the Morehead Honors College, I hope to represent and advocate for the interests of honors students on campus. The Morehead Honors
College has given me a community of driven peers at the University of Georgia, and by planning events, writing effective
policy, and working with administration, I hope to positively affect the experience of an Honors student at UGA. Through giving students the opportunity to present on meaningful topics through student-led TED Talks and revamping the Honors Network, I plan to improve the professional experience for Honors students at UGA as well as represent their interests in Senate sessions.
