The student body would benefit from my involvement in SGA because I will work to ensure Franklin students’ perspectives
are consistently represented where decisions are made. I’ll work toward making it easier for Franklin voices to be heardthrough regular listening channels and straightforward updates on what I’m hearing and elevating. I’ll also work toward stronger career and internship pathways and a deeper sense of community across Franklin by supporting collaborations that
connect students, departments, and student organizations. Across my efforts, my focus will be practical, collaborative progress, representing Franklin students’ needs and advocating for them within Senate and with campus partners.
- Career Readiness is vital for every Franklin student, regardless of discipline. Our goal is to expand access to existing career-readiness resources like engagement and career fairs, while steering new initiatives like the Franklin Consulting Group to connect students with meaningful internship and experiential learning opportunities.
- Inclusion makes the Franklin community special. Franklin is home to over 11,000 students from 250 degree programs all across campus, making it the largest college at UGA. We plan to emphasize Franklin’s diversity by sponsoring measures to connect Franklin students from
all backgrounds and areas of interest. We aim to promote entrepreneurship opportunities to partner students from humanities, arts, and sciences majors under valuable mentorship. - Resource availability is essential to maximize every Franklin student’s UGA experience. We plan to make previously existing resources more visible while creating new opportunities based on student feedback. We aspire to expand awareness by having events partnering with Franklin alumni
from a variety of careers, hosting Franklin specific career fairs, mentorship panels for new students of the college, and continuing to expand curriculum.

The student body would benefit from my involvement in the Student Government Association because I would strive to
bridge the gap between our educators, faculty and students. If reelected, I hope to expand resources and resource
awareness to students based on interests and needs. I vow to be in touch with the student body and act as a voice for every Bulldog!

Last semester as Campus Life for Community Involvement Senator I helped lead initiatives to connect the UGA community with Athens Clarke County, culminating in a student book drive that collected over 900 books for ACC student. With this experience I’m prepared to advocate on behalf of the students of Franklin College

I have been a Senator for the past three years (First-Year Senator, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences Senator, DEI
Committee Chair). I’m excited to focus on mental health and student well-being. In the past, I worked and implemented legislation to bolster well-being on campus by placing the 988 number on the back of student ID cards, and I presented this at the national level where I represented UGA at the White House. I look forward to coming up with new initiatives to make UGA better for all students!

The student body will benefit from my involvement in SGA because I am the type of advocate who follows through. I don’t just raise concern: I try to gather student input, communicate with the right campus stakeholders, and turn needs into actionable policy. I’m especially committed to practical campus-safety and accessibility improvements that protect students in
real time, not just on paper. I also bring a collaborative leadership style: I work well in committees, I’m comfortable having
hard conversations, and I make sure students feel heard while still pushing for measurable outcomes. Overall, students benefit from having someone who is consistent, prepared, and genuinely invested in making campus safer, more responsive, and more student-centered.
- Initiative: Improve urgent, real-time communication across campus by expanding and modernizing intercom/emergency alert points in high-traffic and higher-risk areas. Description: I want to strengthen how quickly students can receive (and report)
safety-related information by increasing the visibility and accessibility of intercom/emergency systems and ensuring they’re placed where students actually need them (walkways, parking areas, bus stops, and areas with limited lighting or foot traffic). This initiative would include auditing current locations, identifying gaps through student feedback, and advocating for
additional placements and clearer signage so students know exactly what to do in an emergency. - Initiative: Strengthen
residence hall security by creating a clearer guest-access process that requires visitors to be escorted by the resident who invited them (especially in single-gender halls). Description: Students deserve to feel secure where they live. I want to tighten guest access in residence halls by supporting a policy that requires guests to be met and escorted by the student who invited
them, rather than allowing unaccompanied visitors to enter and move through the building. This increases accountability and
reduces the risk of unwanted or unsafe situations. I’d also push for clear enforcement guidelines and student education so the policy is consistent, fair, and actually improves safety (not just “another rule”). - Initiative: Add a traffic signal, pedestrian beacon, or improved crosswalk infrastructure near the new dining hall to reduce accidents and improve pedestrian right-ofway.
Description: With the new dining hall drawing consistent student foot traffic, that area needs infrastructure that matches the volume. I want to advocate for a traffic safety upgrade, whether that’s a pedestrian-activated signal, improved crosswalk markings, better lighting, signage, or a redesigned crossing pattern, so students aren’t forced to “chance it” across busy lanes. This is a practical, preventative change that protects students daily, especially at night and during peak meal times.

The student body will benefit from my involvement as a senator because I am eager to listen to students’ concerns,
challenges, and ideas about the University of Georgia and work to turn them into tangible change. I have many ideas for
improving campus, whether that means expanding academic resources or enhancing the overall student experience, and I
am dedicated to making UGA a better place for everyone. I am proud to be a UGA student and want to help ensure that UGA
remains a supportive learning environment and a campus where students genuinely enjoy being. I am also highly organized
and proactive, which allows me to follow through and ensure that ideas do not stop at discussion but are transformed into
action. Most importantly, students will benefit from me serving in student government because I live by the motto “actions
speak louder than words.” I will not only advocate for student ideas but actively work to turn them into proclamations and
resolutions that create meaningful, positive change for the UGA community.
- Increased Access to Pre-Med Internships I want to expand access to internships and professional opportunities for pre-med students, especially through the Franklin College website. This includes adding more internships to the
scholarships and internships section and encouraging advisors to send more frequent mass emails about internship opportunities, like how research opportunities are already shared with biology majors. This would help ensure students don’t miss out on valuable experiences simply because they were not informed. - More Inclusive and Allergy-Safe Dining Options I want to make UGA dining halls more enjoyable and accessible for students with food allergies, especially gluten, nuts, and shellfish. This includes expanding gluten free breakfast options and adding more staple foods like fries, chicken nuggets, and chicken tenders that are prepared without cross contamination of nuts and seafood. I would specifically
advocate for changes to be made in Bolton and Oglethorpe Dining Hall. - Improved Campus Efficiency Through the UGA App I want to improve how efficiently students move across campus by updating the UGA app. This would include adding a Ramsey Center check-in feature so students can see how busy it is before going. For transportation, I want the bus
system to display accurate arrival times for specific stops to allow students to better plan their schedules and reduce
unnecessary waiting.
Major(s)/Minor(s): Major: Computer Science, Minor: Law, Jurisprudence, and the State
As a current SGA Senator representing the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, I have passed several pieces of influential legislation with the aim to support the UGA student body. I co-authored legislation that urges professors to declare their teaching schedule in advance to allow students to proactively prepare for graduation, I founded the Franklin Consulting Group to introduce hands-on internship and experiential learning opportunities on campus at UGA, and I have participated in
regular meetings with Franklin College personnel regarding new courses, student resources, and to promote the general wellbeing of all Frankliners. In the upcoming year, I hope to be reelected in my role, so I can continue supporting the student body at UGA. I aspire to continue fighting to provide students with free, or reduced-price, MCAT, LSAT, and GRE practice
exams. In the fall, I plan on working with the inaugural class of Franklin Consulting Group cohorts on their EL projects, and hopefully expanding the program to include university partners. Finally, in the upcoming year, I would like to focus on revising student resources pages, updating scholarship forms, and revamping the UGA ScholarshipUniverse portal. Overall, I hope to
work every day to improve the lives of all students at UGA, and as a representative of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, I aim to advocate for the members of my college to the best of my ability.

The student body needs its leadership to be grounded in truth, wisdom, reason, and courage. As a Senator, I will listen attentively, represent students’ concerns faithfully, and advocate for policies that strengthen academic life, open dialogue, and life beyond the classroom. My goal is to help create a university environment where students can speak freely, create culture, and pursue excellence without unnecessary obstacles. I will advocate not just for students as they are, but for who they might yet become—let us make that dream your reality.
- Advocate for institutional investment in the arts and humanities within Franklin College by working with Senate committees to promote student engagement with literature, philosophy, history, and creative achievement. This includes supporting events, initiatives, and funding priorities that recognize the humanities as essential to the university’s cultural and intellectual life.
- Develop opportunities for Franklin students to engage in research more efficiently, and listen carefully to student concerns about advising and academic planning. I will work to translate student feedback into clear recommendations and advocacy within the appropriate Senate committees to better support students’ goals.
- Support policies and initiatives that protect genuine dialogue on campus and resist unnecessary restrictions on expression and freedom of thought. I will advocate for a campus culture that encourages honest discussion, intellectual courage, and creative problem-solving while maintaining respect and fairness for all students.

Having previously served as a senator, I am eager to continue advocating for the student body. I aim to help students feel included and provide resources to ensure they are prepared and supported throughout their undergraduate years here at the University of Georgia. As a student in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, I wanted to discover and promote more job and internship opportunities for undergraduates. With the help of a few fellow senators, we created the Franklin Consulting Group, which is designed to offer more professional opportunities specifically for students in the humanities. I also intend to serve the student body by supporting students through student registration and preparation for graduation. This past year, I assisted in creating the idea of a two-year plan with up-to-date information for courses offered at the University of Georgia to
accurately reflect what courses are currently available. With my experience in the Student Government Association, I hope to continue bringing these ideas and passions to serve more of the student body!

Over the past three years as a senator, I have gained valuable experience serving as a liaison between administration and the student body. I have worked to add more benches at bus stops, promote mental health and wellness resources, and create more pre-professional opportunities for students. This past administration, I served as the Senate President-Pro Tempore and aided in the passage of numerous pieces of legislation affecting the daily lives of students. As a Franklin Senator, I have worked closely with Franklin College administration and my fellow senators to create the Franklin Consulting Group, aimed at bringing together the variety of majors in the college and addressing the demand for experiential learning
opportunities. My goals for this new administration would be to continuously make improvements to parking and bus routes, pilot the first cohort of the Franklin Consulting Group, and work towards discounted academic materials, such as McGraw Hill. I would be honored to be reelected as a Senator for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and to continue advocating for a better student experience.

As a current senator, I take pride in representing my fellow students in the Franklin College of Arts of Sciences and serving as a fair voice for all. In my role, I have the honor of meeting with my peers and Dean Stenport to discuss compelling issues within the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and identify areas for potential growth. I strongly believe in the necessity of fostering a strong sense of pride and community within Franklin, and I am dedicated to ensuring students are aware of all available opportunities to cultivate an inclusive environment which supports continued academic advancement. To support this mission, I proposed a panel in these meetings for potential Franklin students to attend and thereby create a sense of connectivity through engaging with current students, asking questions, and learning about involvement opportunities prior to the start of their college experience. By strengthening connections within Franklin, these panels, occurring in February and
April, will promote confidence, inclusivity, and instill a sense of belonging within UGA’s most diverse college. Additionally, as a Spanish major, I have also faced the challenges of online textbooks and platforms which are costly and do not always create the most conducive environment for learning. As your representative, I am committed to promoting affordability and working with instructors to remedy the current unfortunate situation which many Franklin majors face through the implementation of less costly and more accessible alternatives. Ultimately, the student body will benefit from my involvement as senator because I will continue to support and improve upon the close-knit culture present within Franklin. Through my continued support of initiatives such as the Franklin Consultancy Group, new entrepreneurship programs, as well as my devotion to remedying student issues, I aim to unite students and ensure they feel proud to be a part of the Franklin community.
