Food for Fines

The Food for Fines program is an SGA initiative in partnership with Transportation and Parking Services and the Northeast Georgia Food Bank to help the local community. On April 18, 2019, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, UGA students, faculty, and staff will be able to donate 10 canned goods of at least 14oz to waive or refund their most recent parking citation valued at $50 or less.

Donations will be accepted at the Tate Surface Lot. Those who participate can either drive into the lot where there will be signs and people to guide you to drop-off your canned goods donation, or go to the far left end of the lot if you are walking (right outside the Center for Student Activities and Involvement). Participants will need to present a valid UGA ID. Refunds will be issued after the event.
