Director of Freshman Programs:
Freshman Forum is designed to equip leaders entering the University with skills and practice in leading successful organizations at the collegiate level. With the Support of SGA, the Freshman Forum has the power to make improvements, share ideas, and work hand-in-hand with top students and campus leaders to make their ideas come to life. Freshman Forum positively impacts the University and the Athens community through service and leadership projects.

Freshman Focus will help you fully embrace what it means to teach, to serve, and to inquire into the nature of things. In addition to introducing these students to a variety of leadership opportunities throughout campus, Freshman Focus will serve as active members on the Student Government Association Committees as well as serve as an ambassador group of the freshman and the student body, bringing to light the projects and initiatives SGA has accomplished and what students have accomplished across campus.
Membership: approximately 30 freshmen
Through initiatives designed to improve the University experience, as well as through representation in SGA Senate, the Freshman Board serves as the representative voice for first-year students. This program will expose a group of highly motivated freshman to all that UGA and Athens have to offer. They will gain experience, knowledge, long-lasting memories, and develop close relationships with Freshman Board members.
Membership: approximately 15 freshmen
